The NSA-K31E is an Enhanced Certi-Lite/Fiber Test Kit used by System Integrators, Cable Contractors, and IT departments who need copper cable qualification and fiber optic testing in a single solution. The kit supports Certi-Lite standards-based single-ended cable testing, PoE load testing for 802.3af/at/bt and UPoE, SNR-based Multi-Gigabit link speed testing up to 10GigE, Loopback Fiber Optic Testing for both Singlemode and Multimode, fiber inspection, and wired and wireless network connectivity testing. Wireless testing requires an optional Edimax EW-7822ULC Wi-Fi dual band USB Adapter (region specific, purchased separately).
The NSA Platform:
The Network Service Assistant (NSA) is an award-winning Multifunction Qualification+ Tester — a hybrid solution that bridges the divide between qualification and certification. The platform features an impact-resistant 5″ capacitive touchscreen, hot-swappable test adapters, Live Wiremap with audible connection indication, a built-in kickstand, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port that supports 10/100/1000 BASE-T testing with no test adapter needed. Test results can be sent to TestDataPro Cloud via wired or wireless connection, or saved for the PC-based TestDataPro software.
Certi-Lite + Loopback Fiber Testing:
Certi-Lite provides ANSI/TIA-1152-A compliant, single-ended channel testing of CAT3–CAT6A with a clear Pass/Fail indication and in-depth test reports, performed using a small passive terminator at the far end to significantly reduce equipment cost compared to traditional certifiers. The K31E adds Loopback optical loss testing for Singlemode (AD-NSA-SM-01, 1310/1550nm, up to 20 km) and Multimode (AD-MM-01, 850/1300nm EF-compliant, up to 2 km) fiber with integrated VFL and Hybrid Powered Fiber voltage measurement, plus the PROBE-FIBER-INSP inspection scope for connector end-face verification. With the included SC interface kits and loopback adapters, the K31E supports both SC and LC fiber testing right out of the box.
