The AEM NSA-REMOTE #1 is a replacement Remote ID #1 termination plug designed for the Network Service Assistant (NSA) Multifunction Connectivity+ Tester. As a “smart” remote ID, it provides a passive termination at the far end of the link, enabling single-ended, ANSI/TIA-1152-A compliant qualification testing of twisted-pair copper cabling (Cat3 to Cat6A). It serves as the primary remote termination point for Certi-Lite testing and Advanced Link Identification (ALI), allowing technicians to verify cable integrity, measure transmission parameters (wiremap, length, insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk), and instantly identify the connected remote ID. Included as the standard primary remote in most NSA product kits, this replacement unit ensures uninterrupted testing capabilities in case of loss or damage.
