Description of AEM PROBE-FIBER-INSP

The AEM PROBE-FIBER-INSP is a fiber inspection microscope that connects to the test platform via USB port and displays the connector end-face image directly on the tester’s screen. It includes universal 2.5mm and 1.25mm interfaces supporting both male and female connector types. Inspection and cleaning are paramount when dealing with fiber optic loss testing — connectors should be inspected, cleaned if needed, and inspected again prior to connecting. This probe provides visual inspection only and does not perform automatic pass/fail analysis.
