The S421 flow meter stores two calibration curves, allowing the sensor to be used with two different gases without losing accuracy—for example, to measure compressed air flow—and to quickly switch between them (such as from compressed air to nitrogen) via the app or the display. The optional color display is designed to show all measured values, such as flow rate and total consumption. At the same time, the display can be used to manage sensor settings, such as pipe diameter, gas type, or output signal and reference condition settings. The flow meter supports 4 output signal options: isolated analog and pulse output, Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP, and M-Bus.
The flow meter’s parameters are reliably protected against unauthorized changes thanks to a unique access QR code for each device.
Various settings, such as gas type, flow measurement unit, and reference standards, can be factory-set according to your needs. If you need to change settings on-site, you can use the free S4C-FS smartphone app. This allows you to change settings wirelessly on-site with a single tap on your smartphone.
Installation is performed through a measuring section with a specified diameter, equipped with an R-thread or flange connection. The sensor is supplied with factory calibration for the selected section.
