Description of SUTO S418-V

The compact S418‑V flow meter provides a simple yet effective solution for monitoring vacuum applications at the point of use. This insertion flow meter is designed to monitor the performance of vacuum pumps. It measures the actual flow rate and absolute pressure on the low‑pressure side of vacuum pumps.

Due to the use of thermal mass flow measurement technology, the flow meter is also resistant to changes in temperature and pressure.

Vacuum system optimization and reliability. By monitoring flow rate, consumption, pressure, and temperature at the point of use, the flow meter helps optimize vacuum system efficiency and identify improvement potential.

Equipped with an absolute pressure sensor, it not only indicates the vacuum pressure value but also displays the actual vacuum flow rate. These parameters are critical values in vacuum applications and help operators ensure the reliability of their processes.

The S418‑V model offers high flexibility at the point of use and can be installed anywhere. Due to the integrated display, the vacuum sensor is available for various pipe sizes: DN8, DN15, DN20, or DN25 (internal G‑thread).

Mobile app for configuration and real‑time data.

The flow meter can be easily configured via the SUTO S4C‑FS app. Real‑time data can also be viewed on a smartphone through this app. This allows quick access to current parameters and the immediate situation.

Application

S418-V is used for performance monitoring of vacuum pumps. Equipped with an absolute pressure sensor, it does not only show the vacuum pressure, but also shows the actual vacuum flow. These parameters are most the critical values in vacuum applications and help operators to ensure their process reliability.
