Description of SUTO S305

The SUTO S305 Dew Point Monitor is a simple and inexpensive all‑in‑one solution for dew point measurement and display, designed for desiccant and refrigerant dryers. It features an optical red backlight that blinks when an alarm is triggered, plus two alarm relays that can connect to external lights and sirens, with two programmable alarm levels (pre‑alarm and main alarm).

The monitor is available in two measurement ranges: Option 1 from –60 °C Td to +20 °C Td, and Option 2 from –20 °C Td to +50 °C Td. Connection to the compressed air network is via a 6 mm quick‑connector and corresponding hose, and a 4…20 mA output allows integration with a PLC or SCADA system.

The entire measuring unit, including a reliable polymer dew point sensor with an integrated measuring chamber for accurate readings and fast response, is housed together with the display in a rugged IP65‑rated enclosure, available as a panel or wall‑mounted variant. Installation is plug‑and‑play—no complicated setup required.

An optional alarm unit offers a wall‑mounted housing with a large display for dew point, temperature, and humidity, featuring a 360° visible LED and buzzer for reliable alarm indication; it can be mounted on the wall or directly on the main housing.

The S305 provides advanced monitoring with programmable pre‑alarm and main alarm for increased sensitivity, and customizable alarm notifications via visual indicators or separate relay outputs for seamless integration into wider alarm systems.

Refrigeration dryers are the most commonly used dryers in compressed air systems worldwide; if the required drying is not achieved, wet air can cause rust in pipes, machine breakdowns, and negative impacts on product quality. The S305 addresses this by giving an alarm whenever drying values fall outside the desired range.
