New generation of dew point sensors offers users a plug‑and‑play solution for compressed air quality monitoring in accordance with ISO 8573‑1. All sensor models are available with 2‑wire or 3‑wire 4…20 mA analog outputs; in addition, the models are available with a Modbus/RTU digital interface. Thanks to the availability of various output signals, users can achieve high flexibility and seamless integration into the process.
Furthermore, the dew point sensors are offered with an integrated pressure sensor. An optional OLED display mounted directly on the sensor displays real‑time values. The display can be easily rotated by 340° to suit any application. The main housing is made of a high‑grade aluminum alloy with a soft finish. The process connection is a stainless steel connection of grade 1.4301 (SUS 304), designed for a long service life. The top cover is made of aluminum of the same quality as the main housing. The optional display cover is made of durable polycarbonate reinforced with ABS to withstand harsh operating conditions.
The SUTO S220 sensor is the result of many years of high‑tech research and development. The sensor was specifically designed for applications at low dew points where other types of sensors fail. The combination of the QCM and a well‑known polymer sensor makes the S220 the world’s first model that provides accurate measurement across the entire range from –100 °C Td to +20 °C Td by automatically switching between the two sensing elements as needed. By additionally integrating a pressure sensor into the measuring unit, SUTO combines four sensing elements (polymer, QCM, Pt100, pressure) into a single dew point sensor.
The new generation of sensors is the successor to the well‑known SUTO dew point sensors that have satisfied users for many years. The new sensors have been redesigned from the ground up, integrating the latest technologies and all our experience, while being fully backward compatible with existing installations.
The exchange calibration service eliminates downtime and allows users to have uninterrupted recording of dew point measurements.
