The compact S418 flow meter provides accurate measurement of compressed air and gas consumption and costs directly at the point of use, helping to improve system efficiency and keep operating costs under control. Thanks to its seamless integration into existing piping, the device is easy to install and ready for immediate use. Settings can be managed and current readings monitored remotely via the free S4C-FS mobile app: the wireless interface allows changes to be made directly on-site without interrupting the process or accessing the control panel.
Thermal mass flow technology makes the device virtually immune to fluctuations in pressure and ambient temperature, ensuring stable measurement accuracy without the need for additional compensation sensors. The device records flow rate, consumption, pressure, and temperature in a single housing, allowing the potential for optimizing the compressor network to be identified quickly and clearly.
All collected data is automatically recorded in the built-in data logger. If necessary, the measurement history can be exported via the Modbus interface to third-party analytics systems—this enables the creation of detailed reports, tracking of long-term trends, rapid identification of consumption anomalies, and the discovery of new opportunities for cost reduction.
