The AEM AD-5E-PCORD is a pair of patch‑cord test adapters designed for the TestPro CV100 platform, specifically for testing Cat5e patch cords. These adapters allow technicians to perform certification and qualification tests on Cat5e patch cords, ensuring they meet performance requirements for Ethernet networks up to 1000BASE‑T. The adapters are designed to connect directly to the TestPro and to the patch cord under test, enabling measurement of parameters such as insertion loss, return loss, and near‑end crosstalk (NEXT) in accordance with TIA‑568.2‑D and ISO 11801 standards. The pair enables testing of both ends of a patch cord simultaneously or independently.
