Description of TRIO.BAS VERITEST

System designed to verify the calibration status of air samplers. The advantage of this instrument is that the control can be performed directly by users without the assistance of service centers. This instrument does not calibrate air samplers. Calibration must be performed only by authorized service centers.

The VERITEST system is designed to verify the accuracy of air flow. Such control is necessary to exclude the risk of test invalidation between annual certification checks.

The system works by measuring the vacuum created by the air sampler during air aspiration through the bell mounted on the aspirating head. The differential pressure sensor measures this vacuum and compares it with the value stored in the TRIO.BAS sampler being tested. Results are displayed on the command unit at the end of the test:

OK — instrument is calibrated, WARNING or ERROR — calibration is outside acceptable limits.

The test result must be manually entered by the operator into the sampler memory for data recording.
