TRIO.BAS Airbio Duo Cable is a portable microbial active air sampler with two aspirating heads, designed for performing a large volume of microbial controls in various production and laboratory environments with high staff rotation and the need to comply with quality standards and QM/GMP. The instrument design ensures compliance with regulatory body requirements for continuous microbial environmental monitoring.

Features:

• Two aspirating heads allow simultaneous use of different culture media and significantly reduce total sampling time. Vertical orientation of aspirating heads facilitates plate installation and promotes laminar airflow preservation.
• Instrument housing has enhanced stability when placed on surface and ensures convenience of visual control and data entry thanks to ergonomic control panel inclination. Both manual and automatic mode operation is possible.
• Automatic reminder function for calibration necessity is supported.
• Sampling data is transferred via Bluetooth to smartphone or tablet running Android, with subsequent transfer to PC/laptop through specialized software. Wired data transfer is also possible. Instrument battery is recharged via cable connected directly to the device.
• Air flow up to 200 l/min allows reducing operator workload and accelerating control process.
• Use of sterile disposable “Daily Shift” aspirating heads reduces cross-contamination risk and ensures availability of individual sterility certificate required for inspector verification.
• Barcode module with Bluetooth scanner automatically registers operator, location and used plates. Data is transmitted directly to the instrument. Solution is convenient for users of plates with barcode or 2D-code (QR).
• LED indicator on the left side of display shows sampling status via different blinking frequency: delay wait, sampling in progress, sampling pause.
• Validated according to EN 17141.

• SIMULTANEOUS (SIMULTANEOUS): Both heads operate synchronously
• INTERVAL (INTERVAL): Sampling at set time intervals
• CONTINUOUS (CONTINUOUS): The second head starts immediately after the first stops
