The LR-Cal LSP 4000 pressure comparison test pump is used to generate pressure for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments of all types by means of comparison measurements. These pressure tests can take place stationary in the laboratory or workshop, but also on site at the measuring point.
If the pressure gauge to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference pressure gauge are connected to the LR-Cal LSP 4000 pressure comparison test pump, the same pressure acts on both gauges when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, the measuring accuracy can be checked or the pressure gauge to be tested can be adjusted.
The LR-Cal LSP 4000 pressure comparison test pump can hydraulically generate pressures up to 4000 bar. The integrated dual-range spindle pump with changeover valves enables fast filling of the test system and trouble-free pressure build-up. At the same time, the precisely adjustable spindle pump is also used for fine pressure adjustment. An operating diagram for pressure generation on the top of the unit facilitates quick and easy operation.
Two unit versions are available: one is operated with mineral oil, the other with Sebacate oil.
The two pressure ports are equipped with free-running union nuts with 1/2″ BSP female threads with metal cones on both sides. Two high pressure thread adapters to M16x1.5 male threads are included as standard. For calibration of devices with other connection threads, additional thread adapters are available as accessories.
