Description of DDTOP LBTC

LBTC type scraper flowmeter belongs to the volumetric flowmeter, is one of the most accurate instruments for modern industrial liquid measurement. The flowmeter has a stable performance, insensitive to changes in the flow state of the upstream medium, by the viscosity of the medium changes in the influence of small, high precision measurement, good applicability, long service life and so on, has been widely used in modern industrial process control and trade settlement and other fields.

Principle of operation

In the measuring chamber of the flowmeter there are two or three pairs of rotating scrapers, in the groove of the rotor cylinder the scrapers slide radially under the action of the pressurised liquid. The scrapers are driven by the pressurised fluid and rotate with the rotor. The scrapers continuously divide the liquid into individual volumes, which are then measured by means of a drive mechanism and a counting indicator. The total volume of liquid is measured using the drive gear and counting indicator. See Figure 1 Schematic diagram of the LBTC scraper flow meter mechanism, its operation is as follows: When the scraper is in the position shown in Fig. 1.1, scrapers A and D stick out of the rotor and contact the inner wall of the metering chamber, while scrapers B and C are compressed in the rotor. When the fluid to be measured enters the flow meter, the scraper and rotor rotate clockwise. The rotor and scraper rotate one-eighth of the way i.e. when the scraper is in the position in Fig. 1.2, scraper A is still fully extended, scraper D starts to compress, scraper C is still fully compressed. Scraper B begins to extend. When the rotor and scraper are turned a quarter turn, i.e. when the scraper is in the position in Fig. 1.3, scrapers A and B are fully extended. At this point, the liquid to be measured fills the space comprising scrapers A, B, the rotor, the inner cavity of the housing and the upper and lower covers, and as the scrapers rotate.
