The high-pressure level switch is a displacer drive unit, which uses a single switch assembly for level alarm or control. Successful co-operation with FISHER, a US company, has expanded the production line of buoy level gauges, making DDTOP the largest manufacturer of buoy level gauges in China.
In 2007, Dandong Top Pump Co, Ltd, a subsidiary company specialising in the development and sales of magnetic pumps, was established. DTOP was the first company in China to register its flow and level transmitters with the International FF Fieldbus Foundation and became a member.
In 2008, the company participated in the development and formulation of the national standard of “Dispenser Level Transmitter”. The entire product line joined the international HART protocol.
In 2009, Dandong Top Measurement and Control Engineering Technology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company was established to research, develop and apply industrial process automation control systems. A modern new standard factory was put into operation, and more than 200,000 level and flow meters were produced in one year.
In 2010, the Research Institute of Dandong Top Electronics Instrument (Group) Co., Ltd was established to research and develop automatic control systems, application software and application electronic components. The institute participated in the development and formulation of the national standard “Calibration Rules for Target Flow Meters”.
In 2011, the company obtained ISO14001 international environmental management system certification and Q/SY1002.1-2007 international health, safety and environment management system certification.
In 2014, the “Research Centre of Industrial Automation Instrumentation Technology” was founded jointly with Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
In 2016, DDTOP was awarded the CE PED certificate of the European Union. PED is a mandatory regulation adopted by EU member countries on the safety of pressurised equipment.
In 2017, the company received SIL2 certificate from French BV, passed the national certification of intellectual property management system. The company participated in major oil exhibitions in Europe, the Middle East, the US, Canada and other foreign regions. It also participated in the development of the international standard “ISO5167-6 Wedge Flow Meter”.
